Founder and Heart of Flex It Academy
Angela McDonald had a deep passion for children, education, and family advocacy. She earned a master’s degree with honors specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorders and worked for 25 years in special education, administration, curriculum, and instruction.
While serving as an advocate for students and their families, Angela recognized the need for more flexible educational opportunities. That vision inspired her to establish Flex It Academy and create learning environments where students could receive individualized education and support.
Her dedication to students continues to guide the mission of Flex It Academy. We remain committed to honoring her legacy by helping students feel confident, capable, included, and excited about learning.
